PIXEL ENOCHIAN: THE LANGUAGE OF ANGELS

In the 16th century, the magician John Dee created a language that, he claimed, had been revealed to him (through his associate Edward Kelley) by the heavenly host themselves: the language of angels. This language, known as Enochian, was written down by hand in his journals. It has since been used for all sorts of supernatural exploration (and Supernatural shows...)

Now, for the first time, these characters are available as a pixel font!

~~~
This font was drawn based off of the facsimiles from Dee's journal available in "The Complete Enochian Dictionary" by Donald C. Laycock.
Enochian contains the letters A, B, C [which is the same as K], D, E, F, G [the same as J], H, I [the same as Y], L, M, N, O, P, Q, R, S, T, U [the same as V], X, and Z. It does not contain the letter W, so for ease of typing when using this font, "W" on the keyboard gives back the same character as U and V.
The numbers were created based off of the table on page 44, which shows 0-10 as well as a few scattered higher numbers; Laycock explains that there is no coherent system underlying these numbers (i.e. you can't extrapolate 11, 12, etc based on these first ten numbers). The numbers use the same character set as the letters (0 is T, 1 is L). In this font you can type any number between zero and nine and get the corresponding character. To get the character for ten, type : (colon).
The language of Enochian, as written by Dee, is created as square tables—not unlike a word-search puzzle. In order to keep line and row information when Enochian is typed out, I created three additional characters that are not part of the Enochian language. ( / ) Right parenthesis, slash, and left parenthesis. This allows you to emulate the Enochian structure in an ordinary typing format. Right and left parenthesis can determine the table, while slash can denote a line-break. The Enochian language has no special characters of any kind, no "ands" "exclamation points" or even quotation marks. For use in a game or story, parenthesis could be used to enclose phrases. In the header, the characters at the far top left & bottom right are parenthesis.
